How To Use an All-in-One Wood-Lover Mushroom Grow Bag

Our All-in-One Mushroom Grow Bags are expertly crafted for cultivating wood-loving mushrooms, using a premium blend of oak and other hardwoods combined with all-natural substrate nutrient and calorie boosters. Here's how to get the best results:

  1. Set Up Your Space: Choose a clean, shaded area in your home with a stable temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat to ensure optimal growing conditions.

  2. Inoculate the Bag: The grow bag is pre-filled with a hardwood blend specifically designed for wood-loving mushrooms. Once you receive the bag, inject it with your mushroom spores or liquid culture (if it’s not already inoculated), then seal the bag to maintain a sterile environment.

  3. Allow for Colonization: Place the inoculated bag in a dark spot and give the mycelium time to fully colonize the nutrient-rich hardwood substrate. This process generally takes a few weeks as the mycelium spreads and strengthens.

  4. Fruiting the Mushrooms: After full colonization, cut small slits in the bag or open the top to expose the mycelium. Move the bag to an area with indirect light and gentle airflow, where your mushrooms will begin to fruit.

  5. Harvesting: In a few days to weeks, your mushrooms will start to grow. When the caps have fully opened, they are ready to be harvested and enjoyed fresh from your home grow kit!
